BLOCKING: STRUZAN BALANCE PART 1
For this study, I wanted to find alignment patterns Struzan used for his main character element. What I found what that he often aligns only on one eye. This off-balance approach actually find balance when his frame elements within the posters are often symmetrical.
However, Struzan does also sometimes follow a symmetrical alignment. But this is often followed by breaking up the symmetry with the smaller elements:
